Distracting Stars

So you know those movies that are just really bad? You sit there watching them and you are saying to yourself "I paid $8 for this?" Saw one of those the other night. Not really the time of my life, so I made it up to myself and bought a sappy chick flick. I have watched it twice so far. It's nice to treat yourself every now and then.

Hanging out with the person you like is hard to do. Especially when they consider you their best friend and feel like they can tell you anything. They tell you about the other people they like, they talk nonstop about those people, they ask you advice on what to do about these people. And you give it to them, you go out of your way for them, you pretty much put them up on a pedistol. I should know, I've been in enough "best friend" relationships. It's hard. You just have to stick it out. There really isn't that much you can do but to wait and hope that maybe things will turn around. Maybe one day that person will wake up and realize what they are missing. Just make sure that you don't let them know how much you like them too soon, they might just get a little freaked out.

I've discovered I'm a bad driver on clear nights. The Stars distract me. It's really bad. I should probably work on that.

Don't be surprised
If I take you by the hand
and ask you to dance
I love the vision of your smile
as I twirl you around the dance floor
and call you mine
You're all I've ever wanted
